మిజో హమైచే ఇన్సుయిఖామ్ పాల్ (మిజో భాషలో "మహిళలను బంధించడం" అని అర్ధం) 1974 జూలై 6న మిజోరం కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతంలో ఏర్పడింది. ఇది మహిళల సాధికారత, మహిళల హక్కులకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది.[1][2][3] స్వలింగ సంబంధాలను చట్టబద్ధం చేయాలనే ఢిల్లీ హైకోర్టు 2009 నిర్ణయాన్ని అనుసరించి, మిజో హమైచే ఇన్సుయిఖామ్ పాల్ మిజోరం ఉపా పాల్, యంగ్ మిజో అసోసియేషన్, మిజో జిర్లై పాల్ తో ఎల్‌జిబిటి వ్యతిరేక కూటమిలో చేరింది.[4]
2013లో, మిజో మ్యారేజ్ బిల్లు, మిజో వారసత్వ బిల్లు, మిజో విడాకుల బిల్లు వంటి మిజోరాం లెజిస్లేటివ్ అసెంబ్లీలో ప్రతిపాదించిన అనేక బిల్లుల వెనుక మిజో హమైచే ఇన్సుయిఖామ్ పాల్ ఉంది.[1] 2014 మిజో వివాహ విడాకులు, ఆస్తి వారసత్వ చట్టం విడాకుల తర్వాత భార్యకు ఏమీ లేకుండా పోయే సంప్రదాయ పద్ధతిని రద్దు చేసింది. భార్య ఏదైనా ఆస్తిలో 50 శాతం వరకు పొందవచ్చని నిర్ధారించింది.[2][5] 2018 అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల సమయంలో, ఎక్కువ మంది మహిళలు అభ్యర్థులుగా నిలబడాలని మిజో హమైచే ఇన్సుయిఖామ్ పాల్ తన పిలుపులను పునరావృతం చేసింది.[6] మిజో హమైచే ఇన్సుయిఖామ్ పాల్ కి బి. సంఖుమి నాయకత్వం వహించింది, తరువాత లాల్త్లాముని నాయకత్వం వహించింది.[7][8]
గుర్తింపు, అవార్డులు
