మధ్యప్రదేశ్ శాసనమండలి 1956 నుండి 1969 వరకు భారతదేశం లోని మధ్యప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర శాసనసభకు ఎగువసభగా ఉండేది. రాష్ట్రాల పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ చట్టం,1956 ప్రకారం మొదట 72 స్థానాలతో ఇది ఏర్పడింది.[1][2] తరువాతశాసనమండలి చట్టం,1957 ఆమోదించిన తరువాత దీనిని 90 స్థానాలకు పెరిగింది.[2][3] 1969లో మధ్యప్రదేశ్ శాసనమండలి (అబాలిషన్ యాక్ట్, 1969) ఆమోదం ద్వారా ఈ మండలి రద్దు అయింది.
2018 మధ్యప్రదేశ్ శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలకు ముందు, శాసనమండలిని తిరిగి ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని కాంగ్రెస్ వాగ్దానం చేసింది.[4] 2019లో శాసనమండలిని తిరిగి ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని రాజకీయ పార్టీల నుండి డిమాండ్లు వచ్చాయి.[5]
