భారత సోషలిస్ట్ పార్టీ అనేది కేరళలోని రాజకీయ పార్టీ.[1] ఇది 1969 మే లో, పూర్వపు కేరళ సంయుక్త సోషలిస్ట్ పార్టీ (సంయుక్త సోషలిస్ట్ పార్టీ చీలిక సమూహం) ద్వారా స్థాపించబడింది.[2] రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వంలోని ఇద్దరు కేరళ సంయుక్త సోషలిస్ట్ పార్టీ మంత్రులు, పికె కుంజు, పిఆర్ కురుప్ ఇందులో సభ్యులు అయ్యారు.[3] ఆరు నెలల్లో అఖిల భారత పార్టీగా అవతరించాలని కోరినట్లు ఈ పార్టీ ప్రకటించింది.[4]
1969 అక్టోబరులో ఏర్పడిన సి. అచ్యుత మీనన్ మంత్రివర్గంలో ఇండియన్ సోషలిస్ట్ పార్టీ నుండి ఇద్దరు (ఓ. కొరాన్, ఎన్.కె. శేషన్) మంత్రులయ్యారు.[5][6]
