పంకజ్ ఉపాధ్యాయ్ మధ్యప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన రాజకీయ నాయకుడు. ఆయన మధ్యప్రదేశ్ శాసనసభకు జౌరా శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గం నుండి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యాడు.[1]
రాజకీయ జీవితం
[మార్చు]పంకజ్ ఉపాధ్యాయ్ భారత జాతీయ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ద్వారా రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చి 2020లో జౌరా శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గానికి జరిగిన ఉప ఎన్నికలలో కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి ఓడిపోయాడు.[2] ఆయన 2023 మధ్యప్రదేశ్ శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలలో ఐఎన్‌సీ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి తన సమీప ప్రత్యర్థి బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థి సుబేదార్ సింగ్ రాజోధ సికర్వార్ పై 30,281 ఓట్ల మెజారిటీతో గెలిచి తొలిసారి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యాడు.[3][4] పంకజ్ ఉపాధ్యాయ్ 89,253 ఓట్లతో విజేతగా నిలవగా, సుబేదార్ సింగ్ రాజౌఢ సికర్వార్ కి 58,972 ఓట్లు వచ్చాయి.
