రాధా మాధవ్ ధామ్ (బర్సానా ధామ్)[1][2][3] అమెరికా, టెక్సాస్‌లోని ఆస్టిన్‌కు దక్షిణంగా ఉన్న హిందూ దేవాలయం. 200 ఎకరాల కంటే ఎక్కువ విస్తీర్ణం కలిగిన ప్రాంగణంలో ఉన్న హిందూ దేవాలయం, ఆశ్రమ సముదాయమిది.[4][5] టెక్సాస్‌లోనే అతి పురాతన ఈ హిందూ దేవాలయం[6] ఉత్తర అమెరికాలోనే అతిపెద్ద దేవాలయం.[7]

రాధా మాధవ్ ధామ్ అనేది లాభాపేక్షలేని, మతపరమైన, విద్యాపరమైన, స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ[8] 2014 ఏప్రిల్ లో ఎకనామిక్ గ్రోత్ సొసైటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా స్థాపించిన నెల్సన్ మండేలా శాంతి అవార్డును గెలుచుకున్న జెకెపి ఎడ్యుకేషన్‌తో సహా అనేక ధార్మిక విద్యా కార్యక్రమాలలో ఈ దేవాలయం భాగస్వామ్యం పొందింది.[9][10]

చరిత్ర

1970లలో స్థాపించబడిన ఇంటర్నేషనల్ సొసైటీ ఆఫ్ డివైన్ లవ్ లో భాగంగా యునైటెడ్ స్టేట్స్ కేంద్రంగా రాధా మాధవ్ ధామ్ (బర్సానా ధామ్) 1990లో స్థాపించబడింది. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో రాధా, కృష్ణులు 5,000 సంవత్సరాల క్రితం కనిపించారని ఇక్కడి హిందువులు నమ్ముతారు.[11][12] [13] ఈ దేవాలయం అమెరికాలో పుణ్యక్షేత్రంగా నిలుస్తోంది.[14] రాధా మాధవ్ ధామ్‌లోని ప్రాంతాలు ధ్యానం చేసుకోవడానికి వీలుగా అభివృద్ధి చేయబడ్డాయి.[13][15] గోవర్ధన్, రాధా కుండ్, ప్రేమ్ సరోవర్, శ్యామ్ కుటీ, ఇతర ప్రాంతాలు రాధా మాధవ్ ధామ్‌లో ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తాయి. ఈ ప్రాంతంలోని కాళింది అనే సహజ ప్రవాహం బృందాబన్ లోని యమునా నదిని సూచిస్తోంది.[16]

రాధా మాధవ్ ధామ్ ఆస్టిన్ ఏరియా ఇంటర్‌రిలిజియస్ మినిస్ట్రీస్,[17][18][19] హిందూ-జూయిష్ సాలిడారిటీ డే,[20][21][22] పిబిఎస్ మెనీ వాయిస్‌ల ప్రాజెక్ట్ వంటి అంతర్-మత సేవల్లో పాల్గొంటారు.[23] 1993లో ప్రపంచ మతాల పార్లమెంట్‌లో హిందూ మతానికి ప్రాతినిధ్యంలో[24] భాగంగా సంస్థ ఎంపిక చేయబడింది.
