IndiaRailInfo at the India Rail Info
This template is used to generate an external link to a web page for a railway station in the India Rail Info. It should only be used in the "external links" section of an article.
Usage
[మార్చు]The required parameter is the ID number. The template then uses the article title as the anchor text:
* {{IndiaRailInfo | ID }}
* {{IndiaRailInfo | id= ID }}
To have the link text be other than the article name, use second parameter:
* {{IndiaRailInfo | ID | Name }}
* {{IndiaRailInfo | id= ID | name= Name }}
This is necessary when adding an India Rail Info link to an article about railway station.
Detailed instructions
[మార్చు]- Copy and paste one of the options above into the article
- Go to Indiarailinfo.com and search for the railway station you want in either "From" or "To" search bar (say, Tiruchirapalli Junction railway station, for example. Hover the cursor over the name of station for a auto dropdown list. Click "All Arrivals" and you will reach
https://indiarailinfo.com/arrivals/787/) - Copy only the numerals (here, "
787"), omitting the alphabets and characters in the link. - Replace "
ID" in the template code with the number- For the first option above, you'll then have
* {{IndiaRailInfo|787}}resulting in:
- IndiaRailInfo at the India Rail Info
- Note that the link text is the same as the title of the page the template is used on; outside the page "Tiruchirappalli Junction", use the second option:
- Replace "
ID" with the number and "Name" with "Tiruchirapalli Junction"* {{IndiaRailInfo | 787|Tiruchirapalli Junction }}results in:- Tiruchirapalli Junction at the India Rail Info
- For the first option above, you'll then have
